I have a 1993 Chevy Z71 and the driver's side interior door handle has broken off. I have watched a few videos on how to replace the handle and bracket but nothing on how to remove the rivets that hold it in. Could someone please describe how to remove them and if the only way is to use a drill and a drill bit then what size drill bit. I have seen multiple half *** fixes but thats not what im looking to do. I want to fix it the right way. Thank you.

 

used a 1/8 " bit on mine and it worked just fine
