Default Manual tranny hops, skips, and jumps

My 98 C1500 with a 5-speed manual started lurching and bucking as I accelerated off the line today. I did slip the clutch a little. Engine seems fine. By going slowly (maybe 35-40 mph) and rowing through the gears, I was able to limp home safely, and it's parked in my driveway now. Clutch pressure plate? Y'all think?
Thanks in advance!

I'd check the transmission cross member bolts.
