Default No Start, No Fuel, Please Help - 1998 Chevy 2500

Please help!

We just replaced the brake master cylinder as we were having issues with the brakes, and after installing the brake master cylinder the truck will not start.

It cranks great but does not start and no fuel. Very confused as to how replacing this part stopped the truck from starting.

We confirmed its not the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay, there's just no fuel getting there. And have a half tank of gas.

Any ideas?

Although you may not have intentionally disturbed any wiring, there’s plenty of wiring on the firewall and under the dash in that area that could’ve been pinched or unplugged during the replacement.

If the fuel pump isn’t kicking on when the key is turned on, I’d recommend trying to pull codes. A 98 would have OBD 2 and can give you a direction to start looking.

Thanks!! That's what our plan is to start with checking for codes.

If you find any and aren’t sure where to start, post all of them - even seemingly unrelated codes can sometimes lead to a solution.

Default Issue might be typical of security on this model

Does the security light show up in the dash when you put key in and try to start it?

So I did turn the key up until we started it to see if the security light stayed on, but it always goes off and doesn't stay on, so I don't think it's anything security related.
