Block is cracked vertically in cylinder 6
wondering about a new engine unless shop takes a new one apart to rebuild it ( if done that why not just get new bare block and build it)
if blocks are cast ed instead of machined I think it may just always crack
had a v6 once and it went 80 k without loosing coolant it burnd oil though ( not sure if rings or a crack)
thought about having a new v6 put in instead
hate to scrap it , it was taken care of frame had little rust needs more paint it just look like surface rust in spots , not deep and not all over, new windshield, paint job and interior good condition, almost looks new still, just needs mainly an engine , that v6 got 22 all highway but had timing off and a valve problem too , and those heavy 20 wheels
