Default OBD1 Scanning

Hello, I just bought a ALDL bluetooth scanning tool for my 95 K1500 5.7 to try and diagnose an engine problem. The scanner works by sending live readings to an app on my android. It works great but I need to find a chart or list of what each reading is supposed to be at idle conditions. More or less a starting point to base my readings off of. Example: my Tps sensor reads .745 volts at 675 rpms. I have no way of knowing if this is the correct voltage for the truck or not. If anyone knows where I can get a chart of data readings for a 95 chevy k1500 5.7, that would be great.

I’m not aware of a comprehensive chart. I found the quickest way to get info was to google a specific question about whatever was curious - .eg a google on GM TBI TPS will pop up threads in various forums which say normal at idle is around 0.5 and should be around 5 at WOT. GM EFI Systems is a good place to search for info, those guys are tuners and know a lot about how the TBI systems work. Searching that forum usually turns up something on whatever I’m trying to understand. If you have two datalogs - one during good condition and one during bad and can’t see differences between them, someone there may be able to help, though they are more into tuning questions than diagnosis.

What datalogger are are you using?

does this help you out?
Troubleshooting sensors and how to test

the readings are more if you took the sensor out and tested with a multimeter but you should be able to get the same readings with the live data

Yes those links are helpful thank you. I have an app called ALDL scan tool for android. I've connected it to my scanner via bluetooth to get live readings but haven't tried saving any data on it yet.
