Default Remanufactured Engine

I have a 1994 k1500 p/u 5.7L. It needs a new engine whether it’s used or remanufactured. Any recommendations on who to buy a reman. engine from and who to stay away from?

There so are many to choose from. If you intend to keep the vehicle, a good long block might be the the way to go.

its going to depend on what you need/want the truck for. if your looking for a stock replacement theyre made or you might even be able to find one in the junkyard. if you want a higher hp motor they make them also. you should also try to find one for a tbi or even if you have to go with a carbed 350 look into what you have to do to mount the tbi intake on the heads (tbi heads have a different angle for a few bolts then carb heads)
