I have a 94 k1500 350, and tomarrow I am going to start to pull it out. I dont have the new motor yet it will be next week before I get it so im going to take the extra time to clean up the engine bay. Does anybody have any tips to help this go smoothly, and this is my first time to pull one.

 

yes i have some tips, first would be to wait until u have the new engine to put back in, to make sure everything is the same (they had small changes over the years) and take pictures

 

Take pictures, and put tape on all electrical connectors and mark on them what they go to. Makes reassembly go much smoother, especially if you wait a week for the new engine.
