Hi All -
My 98 Silverado needs a new windshield. Tech at Satelite auto glass said they could not replace it because there are rusty spots on the truck frame where the windshield should seal. He said that the frame would need to be repaired before they would install new glass. Has anyone run into this issue and if so, what did it cost to get the fix?

The better fix is to weld in new metal instead of filling it with bondo. The cost will depend on how bad it is and how much welding they have to do.
