I don't expect there will be HUGE gains but if the low to mid range power improves as wellas the MPG I will be satisfied. At 73 my car/hot rod days are few but, I still like to tinker...justa few thoughts from an old car nut on a limited budget. thans for all the input.

Regards

Your vehicle was designed for the OEM part. I bet it'll end up worse than before

Well Like I said...a few mods...MSD box , cold air kit ( polished metal tubes ) , throttle body spacer , short tube headers ( with true dual exhaust and some very low restriction mufflers ) and then maybe the Jet MAFS. I'll have fun doing this and if I get some more mid range and low end grunt I'll be a very happy camper. Oh and by the way , I fully realize that I asked a question on an open forum ...so thanks one and all for the negative input from all the experts...I bid you all a very pleasant day.

Regards

not negative .... realistic. Just setting your expectations. The cold air intake is a complete waste of money. So are spacers on a fuel injected engine. But hey if you wanna blow a bunch of money to impress the guys on your block then fill your boots.

Experimental modification and "Hot Rodding" a car or truck is NEVER realistic. Get over yourself and let the hot air out of your head. At 73 I'm having as much fun as I can afford . If I wanted to be "realistic" I would take the bus...LOL

Regard,

BS. I think serious race guys would disagree with you.

I recommend a strong dose of your own advice there, and probably a peek at the forum rules before it bites you in the ***.

Like most "super moderators" You have a power complex...I'll just say Good by...I'm deleting your highly over rated forum as of today. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life.
