does anyone have any experiance with performance air filters. such as the fram air hog or K&N, just curious if you have noticed any performance or difference in how your rig ran. i was just looking for a good quality stock replacement filter, dont really want to put a intake kit on just yet. thanks for any info

You'll probably get better results with the K&N rather than with the airhog. The airhog just isn't as good. Otherwise, you have other brands to pick from like Green &AirRaid.

When I installed the K&N drop in I noticed that acceleration was somewhat smoother. When I stepped up to the K&N FIPK throttle respones was much smoother again. I did gain a slight amount in MPG.
