Default Silverado falls out after giving high gas

Hello everybody,

it is a Chevrolet Silverado c1500 built 91.
the car has recently been transferred from gas to petrol.
when it was driving on gas there was no problem at all.

the car starts fine.
But when you give gas or the car has to get some more work done by driving up a hill, he will get problems and eventually will fall out.
first we thougt it maybe would be caused by dirty fuel so we have put a filter to see if that was the problem.
there was a little bit of sand in it but realy a little little little bit.
so that wont be the problem i guess.
when you give full gas, it sounds like the car gets to much petrol and drowns in it.
after waiting a few minutes you can start the car again.
when giving low gas there is no problem.
only when you give full gas and when the car has to do some effort to get up the hill.

somebody knows what the problem could be?
thanks for the reactions!

This is a picture of the air filter (took apart).
the upper tube is closed with some kind of a tap.
the air filter itself is clean.
but when we look at videos of the same car/motor original on petrol we dont see this tupe on the top.
so maybe, after it is transferred to petrol, thus tube should have been removed?
Let us know what you think!
