Default Start then dies

I’m at a dead end with my truck. I have recently
replaced the engine 350 Long Block TBI with spider
injectors. I’ve messed with the distributor way to
much trying to find an idle but it will not stay
running long enough. I can hear the fuel pump kick
on, the fuel filter is new, the battery is new and is
free of corrosion/tightened down. I had a friend of a
friend say it needed a crankshaft camshaft
correlation but I don’t think that is it. I’ve replaced
motors in 90’s model chevys before and haven’t ran
into this issue yet. Pcv valve is new as well. Any
ideas? Thank in advance!

Welcome from Florida. Did you do a fuel pressure check? Just because you hear the fuel pump doesn't mean it is produces enough pressure to run the engine.

getting fuel pressure before the filter and just checked on top of the engine, no fuel came out when I pushed the pin (key was in start position)
