Hello boys, and girls. I can use some help. I have a '92 silverado K1500 5.7L with a nightmare of electrical problems. But I think I have narrowed it down to one of two things.Is there a starter relay on this rig and where is it located? or does it just have the Ignition Control Module inside the distributor? Right know, if I hot wire it I was getting crank but no start, now, I'm just hearing a click somewhere in the center of the dashboard in the engine bay (sounds like). Which is precisely where the distributor is. I crawled underneath and did the old jumper from post to S terminal and the starter spun,. SO, I got no spark, no fuel. Anybody know,and can help this simple git?.I never did get along with electricity.in cars. .But I'm learning. Thank You, Gentlemen!

 

So are you saying the starter does not turn when you try start with key? do you hear fuel pump prime when you 1st turn on key?
Please give us a more detailed history. When did it last run? Was this a sudden problem? What do you mean by "nightmare of elect problems"?
