Default TBI to Carburetor conversion

So, I'm knuckle deep in a carburetor conversion. i am just curious what electrical I need to actually keep. I feel like a ton of the electrical can just be deleted at this point but I have no idea where to start. Can anyone assist with this?

What year truck/engine? Deleting all the controls will cause transmission shifting issues (unless it’s a manual). There are multiple options for standalone controllers for these types of conversions.

I’m sure it’s possible to retain some of the factory controls for the transmission, but you’d still need some inputs like TPS and crankshaft speed.

You could always remove the present trans and if it will bolt up, install a trans with the throttle rod to control shift pressures and down shift capability.
