Default Temp gauge and oil pressure gauge.

1990 w/t1500 4.3L

My temp gauge has started flicking from 0-max randomly pretty quickly. The check gauges light is also on. It almost seems like it happens when I hit bumps. When I’m stopped or on smooth ground it’s either 0 or max. Any idea what’s going on here or how to fix it?

my oil pressure gauge reads 30 at idle and when I just barely touch the throttle it goes to max. Should I be worried about this?

I would check both the temp sensor and the oil pressure sensor wiring at the sensors. if all looks good I would change the sensors.
