Default tire fitting

I have a 95 Silverado. when I purchased it, the old owner has some 275/60-15 tires on it. the rim is 10" wide. My question is, will 33x12.50 fit on these rims and will they rub or do I need to do anything if these tires will fit?
thanks

Use a calculator. There's one right at the top of the page in the tools menu. Or go to
https://tiresize.com/calculator/

that's a difference in height of 5 inches! They aint gonna work well without serious suspension and drivetrain modifications.

Wow! I wonder if those are stock rims - the tire size is certainly not factory. My 1996 has 15x7 inch rims and P235/75R15 tires on it.

As already pointed out, going too large will cause lots of problems, not to mention throw your speedometer and odometer significantly off.

I would double check the width of your wheels, as looking at tire calculators, you can in fact mount a 265/60 to a 7 to 9 inch rim.

I had to install a 3" body lift to run 33" tall tires.
