new guy here. Just picked up a 1989 K3500 454 with 41K original miles, dually. It has the larger TT tires configuration. 22.5 tires. It says on the side 120 PSI ! I know on a TT but in this configuration? 1998 K3500 super cab dually what should the tire pressure be? Thank you in advance. Matty

 

Semi Truck tires run those pressures. Might be correct.

Mitchell says 65 front and 65 rear for drw.

120 on the tire is the max tire inflation pressure...so if you are loaded up...increase the pressure up to a max of 120...if you are empty and don't like the lumber wagon ride...drop it down.

I run 55 all around on my 3/4 ton when empty... empty, it rides horrible at the rear spec of 80....slightly less horrible at 55. be glad you got independent front suspension

most places state to not exceed what the vehicle came with. not saying you cant run those tires but if you run that much pressure it will effect the handling of the truck and may cause other issues. i was running military 37.5 their pressure was around 60 or so. those tires sucked on wet roads and snow
