it all depends on what mostly the tire will be seeing....mud,snow,dirtroads,or mostly pavement....and what size are you looking @? 33:12:50.....35x12:50.....i personally have found bfg mud terrains to be an all around good tire...mine see all sorts of things mud....rocks....lots of pavement and right now they have 35,000 miles on them with about another 6,000 left...thats with proper air all the time as well as rotation

The BFG all terrain is also a great choice, and has a higher all condition traction rating. They are expensive but a good investment. If you are off road a lot that Red is right, go with mud terrains.

My boss used to run BFG mud terrains on his 01 f-350 4WD, but swears by the Goodyear Wrangler Mud terrain he got more miles out of 'em, and was better in the mud. So he claims.

I'm gonna try to throw 2 on the back of mine soon. My bridgestones the truck came with are bout dryrotted out. I want 285/75, but my rims are only 6.5 wide. I'm curious if they will work

Never buy Goodyear tires. We have the most problems from them, high RoadForce numbers (google Hunter GSP 9700 if you do not know what that is) and lots of weight needed to balance. We usually have to match mount 3-4 Goodyears per car and 1-2 for most others. Out of the 2 above get the Khumo. I compare them second to Michelin which are way more expensive.
