Default What is the difference in steering column

I have 1997 Chevy 2500 4x4 the truck was stolen and they missed up the steering column. I have been look to replace it but there are two different models. The one that fits my truck is a N33 model. There is also a NJ6 model. I talked with the dealership and they were no help. My steering column has tilt and no airbag. Any help would be good.

Thanks

Have you tried calling GM (not the dealership, screw them)? If you do be sure to check your glove box and see if a sticker is still readable inside. It has all kinds of codes that they may ask for when you tell them your issue.
I called once about my brake system because I was at the parts store and had no idea what size rotors I needed. They took the codes they asked for then told me very detailed information about the brake system.
I hope that helps some.

Check this link. There is also a 9J6 model which is basically the same.
