Default 03 1500 diff fluid change

just curious on any insight on what everyone else has been using everything that I’ve researched has said multiple different things such as 75-90 in the front 80-90 in the rear plus and additive in the rear or 80-90 in both or 75-90 in both unfortunately I don’t have a owners manual for my pickup so this is what I’m using is good old interweb skills and you guys thanks in advance

I'd recommend a synthetic lubricant my self. Any of those grades are fine. If you live in s place that gets very cold 75w/90 would be a good balance.

I’ve always used 75-90 and I always like to double check just because so thanks for the advice. I have read some other forums and they stressed using a additive in the rear I’ve honestly never once used any sort thing on any pickup I’ve ever owned so is that legit?

That additive is only for positraction axles. No need in an open axle.
