Default 03 Silverado electrical & mechanical issues

NEED HELP!

2003 Silverado 1500
5.3L V8, 4x4, extended cab, 170k miles

having problems staying running, idling low, weird electrical "glitches"

Thursday:
-out of nowhere power locks stopped working
-truck would start and run for approx 2 seconds then die
-fuel gauge showed E, but low fuel light not on (had half tank of fuel)
- gave her the ole reboot (unhooked battery)
-started and ran fine.

Saturday:
-ran fine all day until out of nowhere stopped running again and exhibited ALL the same symptoms as above.
- rebooted again and it started, but had a very low idle.
-I limped her home and now it's time to diagnose

UPDATES:
-Radio wouldn't shut off So unplugged battery and now radio won't turn on.
-instrument cluster kicks on, but fuel gauge is not correct

REPAIRS/THINGS I'VE CHECKED:
-added a ground to the alternator mount
-No mega fuse
-checked all fuses under hood and in cab

Possible issues??? (Things other people told me)
-bcm
-fuse block
-ignition switch
- bad grounds
-ecm capacitors

Codes:
Only code is P0440 which is Evap so probably unrelated

Bad ground or positive connection somewhere maybe.

Could be a mega fuse corrosion issue. I think on the 2003 it's located with the fuse block under the hood. The can sometimes get corrosion under them causing them to no longer make good contact. Remove it and lightly sand the surfaces until clean metal is exposed. Reinstall.

Couldn't get to the connection point of ground on the block so I ran a secondary ground to alternator mount. (Not sure if that is an equivalent grounding location, but figured can't have too many grounds right?)

I dont have a mega fuse. Found the location where it would be, but nothing there. Is that a problem? Or do some just not have one?
