Twice now I've jumped in and thrown it in reverse, nothing will happen so I'll try all other gears, still nothing. Then I'll play with my 4wd and auto 4wd. Then it will lurch forward and will drive fine. I've checked my transfer case, and transmission fluid and everything is fine. If you guys have any ideas or pointers it would be great. The truck has never towed anything, nor have I been one to rod on it. Also it only has 80,000 miles on it.

 

Any noises or lurches? How does it behave while working?
