1999 5.7 crate motor
My Tahoe had a cracked head and 250,000 miles so I replaced it with a new GM crate engine. The old engine got 16+mpg and my new engine after 2000 miles gets 15 mpg.
Any suggestions of what I could do to improve mileage? A new engine should do better than a junk old engine.
