i have a 1999 chevy 1500 4x4 with a 4.3 and i bought a 1996 chevy 1500 4x4 with a 5.7 and im wanting to put the 5.7 into my 1999 what all do i need to use off the 1996. i need help and thank you

 

Well if you have the shorter version of the rather long radiator shroud on the 4.3-liter engine, you have one thing less thing to deal with. Since both vehicles use OBD II so that makes this much easier to do. You'll need to match the exhaust system up and possibly switch ECM's but it should turn out well, as you have both vehicles, IMO.
