just bout 99 chevy silverado 2500, the power steering in way too strong, you can touch the wheel and i basically turns on its on. i know this year had the evo steering but (prior to me) that has been removed. there's no sensor on the steering shaft or plug on the power steering pump. anything i can check. i did replace a restrictor valve(i guess what you call it) that come out of the power steering pump that tightened the steering up some but not enough.

 

 

thanks, this was the 1st thing i tried. apparently this has already been removed....the evo sensor is gone and the power steering pump apparently was changed because there is not electrical connectors on it. there's a NAPA tech bulletin about replacing this part http://s7d9.scene7.com/is/content/Ge...58222pdf?$PDF$
