2004 Chevy 1500 randomly died in the woods
I had just gotten this truck from my grandmother, it just had a full tune up and everything. I drive it for a week to work no issues until that weekend we took it out to the woods. Nothing crazy literally just driving over dirt roads and sugar sand, wasn’t digging it or anything. Leaving a river the truck just suddenly died on the dirt road. I’ve had it towed, we checked the spark plugs and alternator and they’re good. I haven’t been able to get my hands on a code tester since the truck won’t start. Some people have told me it’s a fuel system issue others say electrical but no ones been able to really point me in a good direction as to what I should do next. Any help would appreciated!!!
next thing to test is fuel pressure. a code scanner might/should help if you can get your hands on one but fuel pressure would be the first thing i check out along with seeing if the injectors are firing
