2004 Chevy Tahoe keeps dying, losing power
Last week my wife leaves the key in the ACC position and goes inside a building for an hour and a half. She comes out, battery is dead, I jump her off.
Next day, try to start truck, battery is still dead. I jump it off, it drives just fine on an 80 mile one way trip. Stop for gas, has to be jumped off again, I'm thinking "great, battery has been killed". Still drives just fine after jump.
Now I got a new battery, according to Autozone it's the same size and 700 CCA as my other one, but the truck is now losing power. The A/C isn't functioning and it keeps dying while being driven. The battery that was replaced was noticeably swollen (could be a red herring).
Any ideas? Ignition, Alternator, wrong battery? Why would it start dying now and not before?
