Just wondering if anybody knows the answer to this, when looking up on rock auto or Amazon or anywhere really, all the grills that look like mine with the honeycomb and the appearance of being split instead of having that solid piece that runs under headlights. All the ones that look like mine are coming up for a 1500 HD, and my truck is a 2006 Silverado 1500 LT with the 4.8 liter

 

I have a 2004 SIlverado 2500 HD pick-up and the original grille on mine was similar to what you described, (which if I am understanding you correctly is the grille you're looking for).. I changed my grille out to the 2005/2006 grille, which looks exactly as your grille shown in the picture.

Your front grill look identical to my 2006 Silverado 1500 WT (work truck), with the only difference I see on the front being that the trim between the upper and lower lights is black on mine, and yours is body color (white). The grill itself appears to be identical. Also, the trim on the top of my bumper is black, rather than white, probably because of the low trim on the WT edition.
