2500 Tow Mirrors on a 1500?
Hey Guys, I have a 2002 Silverado 1500. Kid on my street has a 2005 2500. He has changed his Tow Mirrors to some fancy Tow Mirrors with LED Lights all over them( He is on Youtube
JW Montoya) The mirrors he took off look pretty good, I know the doors are the same between the 1500 and 2500. I would like to swap out the Mirrors on My Truck. I have the Power, Heated Mirrors, His are also Power, heated, and they have the turn signal in the glass.
Aside from the turn signal can anybody think of any other reason why the 2500 mirrors won't work on my 1500? He told me 100 bucks, I see online they sell for 300-350. I tow my 21' deckboat, and a 20' covered trailer for the High School Band and I currently use the "slide on" mirror extensions so it would be nice to have an Extendable Mirror.
What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Scott

Ok, Anybody wanting to do this... It only works if both trucks have the same equipment in the Mirrors(Power, Heated, Turn Signal) My GMT800 has Power and Heated but not the Turn Signals so they are not Plug and Play. I did not purchase the Mirrors, I will Find another Pair that will work.
