Default 4.3l Performance

I have a 2003 4.3l Silverado and I was wondering what y’all would recommend replacing in the engine for a PROPER custom tune. I already ordered a 270 cam, rocker arms, a exhaust system, and the complete cam kit comes with: lifters, a timing chain and gear, valve springs, retainers, and locks. Do y’all recommend changing the little things like sparks plugs, push rods, headers...etc? or am I missing some other major components for the build? Keep in mind I’m building it for the streets for it to be a fun daily driver. If what I have in the truck matters too then I have: a 6 inch lift, and 20x12’s on 305’s. The other things are cosmetic.

Is your Silverado a 4WD (K-1500 or 2WD (C-1500)? What gear ration are the axles? Manunual or Automatic? I suppose you can reuse the pushrods if they spec out OK. I'l assume .its a 4WD since you wish to install a lift kit and wheels. I think a set of 3.73's to 1 gears would really help performance, but that can get expensive. Changing plugs is up to you but it cant hurt, unless they are in good shape already

Doing the exhaust wouldn't hurt either.

Headers would be a decent improvement while your there if you are so funded and inclined.
