4l60e to 4l80e pros and cons

I need a new transmission in my 2004 silverado 1500 4x4 z71 and I was thinking about putting in a 4l80e. I was wondering about fitment and the pros and cons. Thanks

I've been wondering this as well. I just passed the 200k mark and I'm getting ready to start saving for replacements and would like to upgrade to the 80.
