My transmission was over filled with fluid. The truck was driven until it won't move in any gear. Was going to buy a rebuild kit and have a friend with experience rebuilding transmissions, do the work. He isn't available right now and I was wondering if there is a kit that has the parts needed for damage of this type? It seems like there is a wide range of kits for it and don't wan t to buy any more than is needed typically. I know it needs to be inspected but I'm trying to get an idea of what it might run me. Can anyone advise me so I can prepare myself to get the Parts?
