Have a 5.3L 2006 284k. Plan on keeping this vehicle as long as possible.
See video of removed rocker arm and the click sound it makes when I move it. Turn your volume up
1. Was wondering if it would be worth the cost to replace the rocker arms? There is some engine chatter, but a quart of Lucas Heavy Engine oil quiets it down.
2. If so, should the push rods be replaced?
3. If so, how can I found out the exact ratio that is currently installed?
4. Should I go the extra expense for the roller style rocker arm?
