i know this hasbeen asked many times over. but i have a nice 1999 chevy 1/2 ton with ablown 5.7 vortec. i just purchased a 1999 3/4 ton with a 5.3 LS . well the 3/4 ton truck is basically junk yard ready. No brakes whatsover. its a rust bucket full of holes. But the engine and tranny is good. so i hjave the whoile truck. I want to put the 5.3L in my vortec truck. what do i have to do change engine and tranny. use its complete computer? what about gauges? thanks abunch
