Air bag service light.
This week I installed new radio, and re-covered headliner. No issues. Yesterday, I put back all the pillar covers and the dash panel cover. This morning the "service airbag" light is on. Coincidence, or did I mess something up?
I think not. I've got the same problem. Only I went further. I also removed all the seats, console, door panels, rear panel and carpet to install sound deadening. After I put it all back together the Service Airbag light comes on. Short of taking it all apart and checking all wires and making sure you didn't disconnect sometrhing I'm not sure what to do. Articles I've read all say it has to go to the dealer and they have a scanner that can follow the signal throught the vehicle. Unfortunately a lot of their procedure also says replace parts as you go to the next step. Seems they parts swap their way out of the problem at your expense. So far I've just ignored it and keep driving because I'm not spending thousands of dollars at the dealer...
Update. If I switch the passenger airbag to "auto", the light goes off. No battery disconnect. Will try when the weather warms up a bit. Wifes Tacoma is in the garage, MY ride is banished to the outside.

Well, in auto mode, the passenger side airbag is on and off per the weight sensor in the passenger seat. I would think the switch is turning the passenger seat OFF, i.e. disabling it. Not sure how that would trigger the service indicator. Wonder what it does if someone sits on that seat with auto mode engaged? Does that trigger the service, or just indicate airbag on? On my 2006 Silverado WT, the indicator for passenger airbag on/off is on the rear view mirror. And I do NOT have a switch to disable it.
