I have a 99 Silverado,5.3 4×4
just put used trans n runs great, however, when I first start it n drive it goes into gear n rolls fine, when I stop it goes into neutral, if I put it in 2nd or 1st it goes back into gear then once moving I put back into drive n all is well,fluid is new,not burned,n filled right,once truck is warm there is no problems and runs n drives fine, any chance someone can edumikate me on a little trouble shooting???? Lol

also when I engage 4×4 it makes like a banging noise and if I get on it a Lil it starts to make like a loud clicking noise what the (who done it) can that be without telling me the bad news of a bad transfer case I'm hoping something fixable that isn't gonna kill my piggy bank
