2004 Silverado K1500 dual climate control. No auto temp. Single cab.
On Monday the blower worked fine on all 5 speeds. Tuesday I've got nothing on any speed. Have replaced the blower motor, the blower motor resistor, the control panel in the dash, and both the 40amp fuse and the 10 amp fuse. Still the blower motor will not come on. What am I missing?

Hi Scotty,
What you might be missing is a test lite or multimeter that you can use to verify if you have power and ground available .
You would need to make sure you have power to and from the switch to the motor. Also make sure there is a good ground for the motor to operate.
A lot of systems use a heavy duty relay to provide hi speed. Since you are getting nothing you might try using a jumper wire directly from a + supply to the motor and see if it runs.

Hey Scotty,
I am working on a similar problem with my 2004 Silverado 1500 right now. It sounds like you checked the fuses in the 'underhood fuse block' and they were good. Did you check the two HVAC fuses in the left-hand instrument panel fuse block? There is one 30 amp fuse and one 10 amp fuse.

Thanks Paladin. I will check both. I just talked to my service manager at my local Chevy dealership and he said if all the fuses are good and I replaced all those parts the only thing left is the ignition switch. Part number KS6254 at your local Napa. $32.00. Hope this helps you. I'll post if this works. Thanks everyone.
