Friend and I just picked up a 2000 K3500 LT, extended cab, dually, auto, 7.4L.
Has some little problems.
Gas smell, rusted rear bumper, A/C needs recharge, tires (originals), seat wouldn't go back all the way.
Fixed the seat. Posted in another thread.
I think the gas smell might be from the regulator or injector seals.
Might also be coming from the back by the tank.
Don't see any leaking gas.
Runs a little rough at idle, and feels like low end torque is just not right.
Could be from the regulator.
Tail pipe kind of black.
Highway speed is great.
Body/interior is in good condition.
Paint on hood and roof faded and peeling, but no rust.
Truck was sitting unused for years and years, and years.
Plates were in storage.
Owner didn't like driving because of the low gas millage.
18,908mi original.
Had it checked with the DMV.
$4000.00
