Hi All. I've got a '97 Tahoe which has been well maintained and garaged, but it appears to have some rust on the extrerior of gas tank. I'm curious if this is a common problem, but most importantly, would appreciate any advice for removing or preventing spread of rust. Thanks!

 

you can buy a spray paint witch is a rust netrelizer it stops the rust that is there from spreding and prevents ferther rusting as well. then if you like once it is dry you can paint it black or another colour just to make it look a little nicer. hope this helps a bit.
