I have a 2000 k2500 pu and I damaged my tailgate. I purchased another used tailgate that was listed as a 2000 silverado tailgate. Not knowing there was a difference, I purchased the tailgate. When I got it home, I realized there is a difference between the two. Is there any directions or parts that I can purchase that will allow me to use the silverado tailgate on my k2500 truck? The differences I see are the hinges at the bottom and the latch at the top. Even if I could get the hardware worked out, will the tailgate actually fit? Anyone have this issue?
