Question Constantly replacing front suspension components!!

My 2004 Silverado 1500 z71 has 289,xxx miles on it and short of changing out the struts and springs I have had to replace every arm and bearing you can think of between the frame and front wheels. its every time I take it to get aligned something new is getting ready to go out or is completely gone. The torsion keys are cranked up to almost level the truck (previous owner did this, I am considering dropping it back to stock if it will improve the durability of the front suspension). It is not a off-road build that hasn't touched any terrain rougher than a gravel driveway. So please if you have any advice I would love to hear it as I am considering just letting her go and finding something else daily.

300k and 17yo....any truck with that time and mileage will require those repairs.
if you drop the torsion bars...it will require another wheel alignment. t-bars turned up to high will have a harsh ride over bumps and will make the cv shafts run at higher angles. if the ride is ok...you are ok.

I will say the 99 to 2006 bodystyle were gm's most reliable truck imo.

For clarification - you replaced the control arms, then by the time you get to the alignment shop, they’re damaged and need to be replaced? And this has happened more than once?
