Want to know if others have experienced dashes cracking for no apparent reason? I have a 2004 Avalanche with 72,000 miles and have had since new. I was driving to Topeka.Ks and we actually heard it cracking while driving! We live in Rio Rancho, NM and am really disappointed because this has been an ongoing problem on ALL GM truck dashes. Trying to find out what to do. Can these be taken out and replaced?

 

I always use a dash pad on all of my vehicles and have never had a dash crack. If you don't like to use a dash pad then you have to keep putting Armor-all on it.
