Dead Cruise Control, Auto Lamp.
Bizarre issue.
All of a sudden my cruise control quit. My AUTO Headlamp on function quit. My remote starter went wonky and now when the key is removed from the ignition, the truck still runs. It will only shut down when the ON/OFF button is pushed. Before it would quit when the key was turned to OFF.
My truck was in for maint at an INDY shop for the seat belt dash light ON. In Virginia, that light illuminated means that the car will not pass inspection.
I called the mech back and he is sure that his repair had nothing to dow with all the above failures and the issue causing the light was the front right side impact sensor. Therefore he was nowhere near the dash electrics. I find it mighty peculiar.
Is there a common power source or link that that could cause this issue?
