Engine just shuts off while driving

Are there any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present in the OBDII system? Is the Check Engine Light or Reduced Engine Power Light illuminated? How often does the engine die?
I had a similar problem with a 1992 Oldsmobile. However, it would only die once every six months or so, hence it was extremely difficult to diagnose.

I agree with mountainmanjoe. Check your fuel pressure and make sure it is within factory specifications. Also, check the wiring to the fuel pump as well as the wire that goes from the fuel pump electrical connector to ground.
