Hello Chevrolet Forum, after several transfer cases (all 261) failing in my friends 2006 2500hd Sierra w 4l80e and 6.0L engine, we decided to upgrade transfer case to a 243 because he didn't want to cut the hole for a manual shift case.


(donor truck is a 98 3/4 ton 2500)
Upon getting the 243 case home, it will bolt in just fine and we have driveshaft figured out, but the wiring is way different and we need help figuring out how to wire this up.

Has anyone here done this swap?
Would you recommend a stand alone switch?
