Default Hard to Turn and Brake - With New Hydroboost and fluid

Story :

I had power steering fluid all over the floorboard by the petals for a month or so. The power steering did get low and empty numerous times.
I replaced the hydroboost, filled the power steering fluid back up.
after I didnt know I had to bleed the power steering because I was having " hard to turn and brake" issues.

I bled the PS properly TWICE. Seemed to be better when I wasn't towing but today i.towed my 22' mako and

....it's still at.times acts like I don't have any PS and barelyslows down while pressing the brakes

also at times when I hit the gas going straight I hear a hum. Not a whine but a high pitched hum
but the hum could be to my center support bearing
Does this sound like the PS PUMP is bad ??

It sounds like you either have air in the system yet or PS pump just like you are thinking. Since you've already bled the PS, I would remove a return line to see if fluid is moving. Otherwise just try bleeding the system again.

It would be best to do it with 2 people, but pull a return line off and then run it. Should have a bit of fluid coming out. Don't run it very long if you do that and make sure the PS pump is topped off before so you don't run out. Either that or you could just throw a new PS pump on it. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea anyway if you ran it out of fluid a few times.

New PS PUMP and its working great. But i.do have whining now ....? Maybe some air in the system?
also the pump was remaned and I do see a slight rock in the pully because the ps pump pully arm had a slight give.. is that ok?
