Headlight oddity...
So I've been fighting my headlights, I have a aftermarket HID kit installed, and have had several issues with so yesterday I was pulling the HID system out to warranty it again and put regular bulbs back in.
I get the new bulbs in and the drivers side is dim, and the bright bulbs are trying to light. Now it had done something similar before while I was troubleshooting the HID system, when I put a capacitor on the wiring harness troubleshooting the system.
Turns out the drivers side headlight fuse was blown. What puzzles me is how it was getting any power at all. Now I'm starting to wonder if this was the issue for my HID kit... Keep in mind the harness for the HID kit feeds off the drivers side headlight plug.
Anyone run into anything similar? How was that thing getting any power???
