Default Headliner Coming Loose

I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 LS which has been a pretty good truck. I have owned it since February of 2010 and am soon going to sell it. I moved recently into a "maintenance free" community and don't need a truck anymore. I am considering selling it and have two people interested in it so far.

I have noticed that the "headliner" is coming loose (glue?) at the top of the windshield. It is probably a fairly minor repair, but I don't want to sink a lot of $$ into it. Is it uncouth or "redneck" to just use duct tape on the two places where it is coming down? The rest of it is fine.

Anyone else have this happen?

Thanks!

elmers spray glue/adhesive may be a good product to try. You don't need a lot...to much will come through the liner fabric.

Don't use duct tape unless you want to turn off prospective buyers!!

I am going to Lowe's today to pick up a ceiling fan.......so I may as well get some Elmer's spray glue while I am there. Will have to give it a try. Aside from the two loose places in the front, the rest of the headliner still looks very good.

Thanks for the replies and advice.......and, yes, duct-taping it might not look too good.

I bought some "spray glue" at Lowe's today. If it is warm enough tomorrow, I am going to see if it will provide enough "adhesive power" to be fixed as good as new.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!
