My heated seats don't work. When you push the button on the door it clicks and the lights go on then off right away. Anyone else have that problem? Its a 2004 silverado 1500 crew cab z71

 

a common issue is the heater element wires breaking over time. find the seat heater wiring connector and check the resistance. if its open circuit, the seat heater element is probably bad.

replacement requires removing the seat cover, seat heater element and sticking a new element to the foam seat pad.
