HELP!! Gear ratio from a 3.42 ratio diff to 3.73 gears

HELP!! Gear ratio from a 3.42 ratio diff to 3.73 gears
So my current differential on my 2wd Silverado has 3.42 gears and they are no longer good. Is it best for me to switch out the whole differential? Also I was considering on putting on 3.73 gears would that work on a 3.42 diff? Need suggestions
